For years, The KZN Doghouse has been a lifeline for over 800 abandoned, abused and neglected dogs. We are Durban South’s only no-kill shelter, operating without government funding-relying solely on fundraising and personal salaries.
Now, false accusations and personal vendettas threaten to shut us down. If this happens, dozens of healthy, rehabilitated dogs will be euthanized–not because they’re sick or dangerous, but because there will be nowhere else for them to go.
We urgently need community support. Sign the petition and stand with us in protecting innocent lives
“We are not just rescuers; we are advocates, healers, and a voice for the voiceless.”
Since day one, KZN Doghouse has been more than a rescue—we’ve been a lifeline for animals left behind. We’ve provided emergency aid during floods, fires, and disasters. We’ve stood beside children’s homes, old-age facilities, and struggling families, ensuring that both people and their pets get the care they deserve.
Partnering with local schools, women-owned businesses, and organizations like SAPS and the SPCA, we have created a network of hope—proving that every life matters, no matter how small.
